I had a great stay at this lovely house in a quiet area on the outskirts of a picturesque village. the property was compact, modern, and well-kept. the bed linen and towels were like new, and the finishing touches such as coffee, sugar, and cleaning products were a nice bonus. the location was perfect for exploring the area, and I really felt like I was in the heart of Scotland. It was also a big plus that the property was dog-friendly. Communication with the owner was excellent. Cons: Nothing to mention. 👍.

Our stay at Capercaillie was fantastic! The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We loved the location, nestled in a quiet area near the stunning Falls of Dochart. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances and even provided coffee, tea, and sugar. The communication with the owner was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.
If I had to mention a couple of minor drawbacks, it would be great to have more crockery and cutlery, as we had to wash up in the middle of a meal due to a shortage. Additionally, a larger cafetière and a bread knife would have been useful.

During my recent stay at Capercaillie, I was impressed with the cleanliness and tasteful decor of the house. The heating system worked perfectly, keeping us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. The showers were also exceptional, providing a refreshing experience after a long day of exploring. Another highlight was the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed, including dishwasher tablets. The location of the house was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surrounding area. Plus, being a dog-friendly accommodation was a big bonus for us. The communication with the owner was smooth and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the house's proximity to the Falls of Dochart, just a mile away, was a great perk. The village of Killin had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. It was also nice to find coffee, tea, milk, sugar, salt. I highly recommend this accommodation.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Capercaillie, there were a few minor inconveniences. there was a lack of crockery and cutlery, which meant we had to wash up during our meals due to the insufficient number of plates and bowls for multiple courses.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the modern and comfortable lounge area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it easy to prepare meals. the location was ideal, situated in a quiet area but still within walking distance of the stunning Falls of Dochart. It was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Trossacks and surrounding areas. We highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing and enjoyable city break.
If we had to nitpick, we would have liked a bit more crockery and cutlery as we had to wash up during meals due to a shortage. it would have been helpful to have a larger cafetière provided instead of having to bring our own.
